The symbol of the Caodaoism religion in Vietnam is an eye, representing the eye of the world. Positioned inside a pyramid, the icon is much like the one that appears on the U.S. dollar bill. Established in 1919 by Ngo Van Chieu, and officially declared a religion in 1926, Caiodaosim presently has about 250,000 followers in Vietnam.
